The most interesting thing I learned form reading this article is that a PSA is only made for non-profit organizations because I thought you can make a PSA about any thing, any topic. I also learned that one should not use artificial language meaning language they are not comfortable speaking in, one should speak in a manner which is of there liking and in there own comfort zone. I also learned the importance of using emotion in a PSA.
Overall I have found this article to be very interesting.

Preliminary Elements
1) I will be purchasing a poster board; I am going to a printing place for the chart and books.
2) I will present my poster on an easel.
3) I will wear come dressed in business attire.

5) Yes I am certainly presenting a brochure.
6) My end product is a chart listing normal children behavior and the symptoms of children with speech and hearing problems: The chart will be available on my website.
Thinking ahead on PSA
1) My P.S.A will emphasize about providing day care worker with proper education in identifying symptoms of speech and hearing disorder in young children.
2) My P.S.A will consist of soft music as I believe my topic to be a serious matter. On the other hand the images I will use will be images of children in day care facilities, and a chart comparing the symptoms of a child with speech and hearing problem with a child who is normal.
Statement of Intent:
1) Goal of this project is to educate day care worker about speech and language problems in little children.
2) It is important because it affect the well being of young children. If children diagnosed by hearing, speech and language problems at an early age get help they are more likely to overcome their illness.
3) As I prosper to become an Otolaryngologist or ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor, at first my interest had been speech language pathology but realized I wanted more then to become speech language pathology so I changed my major to Pre-Med. As a premed major I will identify many symptoms of hearing, and speech problems going hand in hand with my capstone.
4)My project gives back to society by helping parents in addressing hearing, speech problems at an early age instead of having their children struggling with them through out life. As research has shown children learn the art of communication during their early childhood years.
